Hey I've been following this game developing over the years and thoroughly enjoy the mgp22 even though it needs some polishing. A few days ago I downloaded the new game demo, but somehow it feels like a step backwards or sideways, when it comes to the live sessions at least. Not a fan of the mario kart type tracks, the in-session rider interface is harder to interact with  (have to open another screen then close) and it lost the sector timing display.
I was so curious about the new version but I think I'm going to hold back on purchasing again at this point and enjoy the '22 version.

Hi, thanks for your message, a number of players have mentioned the possibility of more realistic circuits and I have started work on updating them (see screenshot). The other things you mentioned can be looked at and possibly changed if enough people mention it, for game update progress follow @MGPManagerGame on X (Twitter).



If we buy on steam will our rider and team editor data be transferable from the final demo?

The game installs to the same location, when I tested it I was able to use edited data with no problems 

what color tires are what compound and what is there track temprature ranges?

white - soft <22 deg track temperature

grey - medium 22 - 38 deg track temperature

yellow - hard >38 deg track temperature

These are only guides and machine specs and rider ability could make tyres wear quicker or last longer.

Hi i was wondering of there is a expected release yet? Also im wonderong what game engine you use, ive been thinking of doing an f1 manager version and or rider career inspired by your game if that's fine with you?

Hi, I hope to set a release date for a few weeks. I used Gamemaker Studio to make this game, for sure you could make an F1 type game, just be sure to not use any official details as I have done as without a licence you could be sued. I considered an F1 game, I could probably use some of this game and add things that are missing, such as pit stops etc, change the bikes to cars, but I have other ideas for other games I want to make.

Please please please add a conferm save, i clicked on save instead of load and saved the default settings to my motogp settings instead of loading them so i lost the teams and settings i edited so please add a conferm and conferm load to try to prevent this

hello, yes this is something I’ll definitely add, it is actually on my list, I’m just back from holiday so will be getting back onto dev this week, I’ve got a few things to add/update

In data editor i belive that aerodynamic performance is spelt wrong in mgp1,  not sure on 2 or 3 but i am just pointing that out, also is are multiple seasons playable in the demo now or is it still just 7 races?

The demo runs until the 8th race of whichever season length you choose, I’ll check my spelling and correct it if needed, thanks for letting me know

in mgp3 the game just stops after the french race on the short calender (7 races) what i mean is when i do the race, after the laps and results it goes to the news thing with mgp1,2 and 3 recaps. the continue button shows up and when i press it the game just goes to the menu, it dosent go back to hq like normal. is that just because this is the demo?

Hi yes the demo is for 7 races 

I know ive requested alot but the only things that should change is the editor skill level selector. I feel it would be easier if I could just hold it down instead of having to click to 20. It would make it alot easier especially when a rider or staff has a level of 2 and I want to improve it. Also two requests is for the bike and rider look. Maybe add an ability to customize how teams bikes and riders look, and also what they look like in the team selector or a color description text if an image of it would be to much to see what the colors are before I select them so I know what team to choose if I wanted a blue team for suzuki but the team I customize ends up being orange,red,etc. that's all it's a great game and it's turning out great

hi I’ve added an option to change the team color, will take a look at ways to help with the editor 

I found a glitch. When speeding up a session it dosent max out so i if i keep clicking it the time and riders move so fast they break. Times for laps dont count, when they are going fast enough sped up the time dosent count, the bike glitch of track and eventually dissappear. Also if this happens the session will never end unelss i quit the game. This happend in gp3 but im sure it the same for gp2 and gp1. Also will this ever be available on mobile like android/ios or just a pc game?

Hi , yes I was aware of the accelerated time issue and it has been fixed, no plans for doing a mobile version at the moment, maybe when this pc game is finished I can look and see if it is possible 

Ive tried the demo and this game is great and it has alot of potential, it would be nice if i could create a team and build a reputation or customize my own teams and riders into the game. The sound of the bikes is a little delayed when i load into a session or race(they take around 10 seconds before there is sound). It could also be nice of their was a spectate mode to just watch the leauge and teams grow. But ive found no problems so far and it is really well done and fun

Hello, thankyou for your positive comments. Editing your team at the start of the game is something I have been thinking about adding, maybe team name and if possible rider names also. I've never had the delayed bike sound delay issue, what class were you playing in? Creating a custom team would be a challenge but it is something I can look into. I hope to upload an updated demo this week, I have changed a couple of things based on other players feedback from the demo. Glad you enjoy it !

I was using the mgp1 but there isnt an issue with the sound i just found out that the sound plays when a bike passes pit wall

is a release coming soon or when do you plan for the release, also what ever happened to that karting game

I hope to release in a few months once game testing is completed - I am working on releasing a demo before that to try, Kart Park Kahuna is still in dev, although I am working on MGP Manager more at the moment, I'll put up some recent karting screen shots and video as it has changed a lot since the last update

Hi thanks for your message, I am working on this in any time I have available - a few things still to do, namely making circuits then testing - will post updates in the devlog & on the Facebook page
