Latest race screen. The rider orders feature has been replaced with an engine mode feature. Engine Map 1 is the least aggressive setting while Map 3 is the quickest but most aggressive setting that increases tyre wear. Rider energy now decreases based on rider fitness.
A.I. riders race mentality has had a massive overhaul, and their performance is based on a lot more factors than previously, such as gap to rider ahead/behind, tyre wear, laps remaining, championship position, rider energy and deciding when during the race to up his pace to get the best position possible. This has resulted in some riders pushing from the start, while others have better late race pace to come through. As each race is dynamic, the result is different each time.
Finally test/reserve riders are now in the game, in the screenshot Xavi Verge and Mattia Passini have come into the teams to replace the injured Valentino Rossi and Danilo Petrucci respectively.
Test/reserve riders can also score points to add to the teams championship total.

I didn't. It seems like the downloadable version is still the one from July. However, my excitement was regarding the above text.
